This page describes some of the basic rules of the league.
League Format
The season consists of twelve tournaments, one each month.
A player must participate in at least six events to qualify.
A player's best nine results will count toward the season standings. This allows players to miss some tournaments and still have a shot at the championship.
Players earn points based on their finish in the tournament according to the formula:
INT(SQRT(Number-Of-Players)/SQRT(Finish)*100)
For example, a player finishing first in a 16-player tournament would receive:
INT(SQRT(16)/SQRT(1)*100) = INT(4 / 1 * 100) = 400 points

Other Tournament Rules
Minimum bet and raise is equal to the current big blind.
In the event two or more players are knocked out in the same hand, the tie breaker for determining the order of finish is the number of chips they had at the beginning of the hand.
